✨ Experiencing One UI 8 (Android 16)
Installing this port jumps you straight to Samsung's latest software vision. One UI 8 on Android 16 brings significant visual changes and productivity boosters:
Key One UI 8 Features on M52 5G:
Redesigned Quick Panel: The Quick Settings have been overhauled with a cleaner, more pill-shaped aesthetic. The volume and brightness sliders are now easier to reach, and the "Media Output" controls have been integrated more seamlessly.
Desktop Windowing (New DeX): Leveraging Android 16’s native desktop mode, the new DeX experience on the M52 allows for true window resizing and snapping directly on the phone screen, not just external monitors.
90:10 Split Screen: Multitasking gets a major upgrade. You can now split apps in a 90:10 ratio, allowing you to keep a small "reference" window (like a calculator or chat) open at the top or bottom while your main app takes up the majority of the display.
Dynamic Lock Screen Clock: The lock screen clock now intelligently adapts its position and size based on the subject of your wallpaper (similar to depth effects), ensuring your photos are never obscured.
Notification Cooldown: A native Android 16 feature integrated into One UI 8. If a group chat blows up, the phone automatically lowers the notification volume for successive alerts to prevent annoyance.
Enhanced "Now Bar": The pill-shaped activity indicator (Now Bar) introduced in previous versions now supports more third-party apps, showing real-time Uber rides or food delivery status directly on your lock screen.
🔧 Post-Installation Setup
1. Optimization One UI ports can be heavy. Go to Settings > Battery and Device Care > Memory and enable "RAM Plus" to ensure smoother multitasking on the M52 5G.
